We’re picking up right where we left off as the 2025 Fall Term Woolf Seminar Series gets underway!
Our first speaker will be Luca Pinelli, who will explore the resonances between Virginia Woolf and Simone de Beauvoir, arguing that both writers—though often approaching from different angles—engage deeply with the very “stuff” of life.
Next, Amy Smith will examine Woolf’s critical engagement with Platonism in Night and Day, where it emerges both as a structural model and a rich source of imagery.
Finally, Jeanne Dubino will discuss the presence of animals in Woolf’s work, while also introducing several key dimensions of Animal Studies as a field.
All seminars will be held online and conducted in English.
Registration details will be shared ahead of each talk.
