We are meeting with writer, editor and translator Hande Koçak as part of Editor Meetings.

HANDE KOÇAK (1982) completed her primary and secondary education in Erzurum. He received his bachelor's degree from Istanbul University, Faculty of Political Sciences, Department of Public Administration and his master's degree from Istanbul Bilgi University, Department of Comparative Literature. In the period 2005-2014, she worked primarily Book-library, Asset and Psikeart He wrote articles in the genres of criticism, review, introduction, short story and essay in many periodicals. He translated works by many authors, especially Northrop Frye, S. T. Coleridge, Herman Melville, and worked as an editor at İş Kültür Yayınları Hasan Âli Yücel Classics Series. He lives and writes in Vienna. When she is not writing, she works as a translator and editor. His works: Planet Before Waking (Narrative, YKY, 2014), Seyelan (Poetry, Kırmızı Kedi Publishing House, 2021), Mountaineer (Essay, Sel Publishing, 2025).
