Like other societies that experienced the modernization process differently from the West, Turkey's, and therefore Turkish literature's, relationship with modernism requires further study and research. In this series of events that we set out with this purpose, we will come together with writers, academics and researchers every two months to discuss topics such as modernist debuts in Turkish literature, resistance to modernist debuts, the first moderns in Turkish literature, the reception of Western pioneers of modernist literature such as Virginia Woolf, James Joyce, William Faulkner in Turkish literature, the relationship between tradition and modernity, and we will try to shed light on the adventure of modernism in Turkish literature.
