Like other societies, Turkey's, and therefore Turkish literature's, relationship with modernism is becoming the subject of more scrutiny and research. In this talk, Murat Belge, with his knowledge of both Western and Turkish literature, will shed light on the experience of Western modernism in Turkey through a comparative method.
